Richard is the founder of Graze Catering and the owner behind The Burrow Café in Fitzroy Falls, driven by a simple mission: showcase the Southern Highlands’ finest produce and celebrate the growers, farmers, and makers who give the region its flavour.

Originally from the northeast of England, Richard has spent his adult life in kitchens around the world - from 3 Michelin-starred restaurants to bistros, boutique lodges, and large-scale hotels and casinos before moving into restaurant development and consultancy, where he helped open six restaurants in two years and worked with major Australian food companies.

Richard’s food philosophy centres on ingredients first, so much so that he created “16 Stables,” a regenerative fruit, vegetable and herb garden, to help grow the building blocks of great food.
